Testimonials from this year

I thoroughly enjoyed attending my first ARK Group PSL event in London on October 10th. The agenda combined a mixture of technology and career development topics delivered by leading PSL and industry specialists. The technology sessions were of particular relevance and interest to me providing an insight into how technology is changing the role of professional support lawyers and how such technologies are impacting firms in shaping their strategies at all levels. I have returned to the Middle East with plenty of ideas and examples to help me and my team achieve our goals which I gained not only from the sessions but, just as importantly, from the networking opportunities. For me the event was well worth the distance travelled and I very much look forward to attending future ARK Group conferences.

It's a time for reflection, with fellow PSLs.

Once again the Annual PSL conference provided an excellent forum for networking, sharing ideas and experience. I can’t emphasise enough the benefit of taking part in a community of PSLs where there isn’t a sector specific group (I am in Criminal Litigation). I thought the Reed Smith personal experience and growth session was very interesting and gave me good food-for-thought personally and the recruitment specialists also a good insight. People tend to go into PSL role (whatever variations of it) for personal reasons rather than professional so this type of topic and support is invaluable.

Relevant and practical – good food for thought and reassurance that as a ‘newbie’ to the PSL world I am developing my role in many of the ways suggested.

Opportunity to hear about personal experiences of other PSLs. The technology lens session was particularly good. Sheila was a very good chair.
